Spent, Lord, for the world doing good. Enlighten our darkness with the light of your word. Your sublime way of life snatched from the apostles, and still keeps telling us how we can be happy, away from the tyrannical dominance of greed for power and desire.
But all this, Lord, he was little. Not only taught us to live, but destroyed the power of death to deny you the power of God's love. The Spirit Holy lord and giver of life, we were then sent from your mouth when you breathed on the apostles admired not just believe you were alive. Your resurrection is now our life, and your light is the only power worth untrustworthy.
To you be praise, Jesus, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, the Father and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever. Amen.
